I can hardly contain my urge to use words like “uber” to describe this. I started to buy tickets for the International Children’s Festival when it occurred to me that maybe I could volunteer.

So I’m volunteering for 4 days, and I get to see the performances etc for free as long as they don’t interfere with my shift. I asked for afternoon shifts, which means I can see the morning stuff – which basically means I get to see the four things I most wanted to!

Now I’m impatiently waiting for the confirmation email to make sure I got the schedule I was led to expect. *hope* I will update on the events – and on various new plans for the immediate future. Right now have to run – just got asked to pick up a shift whose volunteer somehow went missing at one of my regular volunteer sites….
